Our vision... The exhausted soldiers are leaving the jungle passing through an ancient village gate. They will then walk past the American flag and head into their headquarters building. They will now be going home. Completing their story.

Capital Improvements for our Visitors
Our iconic statue is our plaza’s show piece, but there is no shady place to sit or put stuff down when you get there. We are planning on twin seating pergolas to embrace the statue and a comfortable large pavilion with ADA benches and picnic tables.
With the enhancements to the historic Orman house and the major summer improvements at Chapman Gardens, our own plaza is falling behind with visitors. Veterans are ageing fast, but we have an excellent opportunity to launch this exciting campaign now. Our combined park amenities & public restrooms will be a great asset to the community, allowing many future outdoor events.
